Please join us for a virtual presentation about Full Term Breastfeeding

This 20-minute presentation with Q & A will provide an overview of Full Term Breastfeeding. Many people think that babies should be weaned at 1 year old. However, human milk and breastfeeding continues to have benefits beyond a year!

Worldwide, many babies nurse to 2, 3, even 4 years and beyond. What is this like for parents and babies?

Objectives for the learners:

  • Learn about the benefits of breastfeeding and human milk feeding past a year of age.
  • Explore some of the challenges associated with nursing toddlers and young children
  • Explore your own beliefs about nursing toddlers and older children
